Visita apostolica in Messico, 1886-1900 (bulk 1896-1900).

These are the records of Archbishop Nicola Averardi who became the apostolic delegate to Mexico in 1895 and apostolic visitor to all of Mexico in 1896. He presumably gave these records to the Secretary of State. The records provide a good picture of the Catholic Church in Mexico at the end of the nineteenth century.
